Word on the street is a few hundred Chicago union guys are laid off right now. Just what I heard through the grape vine.

I heard the opposite.

I heard from a guy that works at Honeywell that with the BP refinery project going on in Indiana the hall is empty.

A good serviceman should have no trouble finding work in any city. Never go through the hall. You have to go directly to the contractor, get yourself hired, then go down to the hall and tell them that you have a job with XYZ.
