    Job Offer from Agrekko?

I have a potential opportunity to work for Agrekko. From what I've heard, they put in temporary chillers, cooling towers, package units, and generators. Is this a good company to work for? Looks like the benefits are decent. As of now, I've been through many classes, along with experience in residential and light commercial. I think this will be a step up in my career, any suggestions? I greatly appreciate the help.

You will work a lot, and at all hours of the day and night. You will be running temp hoses to bldg and temp units and start up of the systems. If you are young and energetic, go for it. Old and wore out like me, look for an easier gig.

Good luck whichever way you choose to go.

I'm actually 19, and that's kinda in my ballpark. I appreciate it, I hope to receive a call this week from them.

Like SW says you will be bustin your ass because a lot of times you will be installing and trying to get running a temp chiller as the regular one quit so it will be a pressure situation . If you can handle that go for it . It will be a great learning experience and could lead to working for a manufacturer down the road . Good luck .

Good opportunity. I met some of their people a couple of years ago and liked them.

I've done alot of rental chillers. It's no cake walk, lots of emergency situations. Putting in hot taps in systems without hook ups, having to have a transformer or additional material hot-shotted over to you, because some salesman did not look at the job correctly. It would be great experience for you, Agrekko is a good outfit.
