Rules for who gets health care

i was watching TV today and i flipped past the show "Doctors" , which i don't watch, ..and they were saying "a British think tank" has recommended that people who are on record as participating in a "healthy" life style should receive health care priority over those who don't.
(for the English Socialist health care system)

now that America has adopted (partially) Socialized health care, these people are going to sit around and think of reasons why some people should go to the front of the line while others die waiting.
as the laws of corruption state, the rich who pay more money will meet all the qualifications while all the poor will be told tough luck.

America allowed the Socialists to get involved in health care, and now they will bring the country the exact opposite of what they promised.
people will remember the good ol' days when treatment centers wanted people's business, and centres acted out of charity, but of course, the Socialists plan to counter-act memory by telling people lies about how our system used to be. The same way they lie about America's past now.

it's not a "death panel", it's just people assembled in a panel, who enforce rules on who lives and who dies.

Obamacare will never see the light of day. Basically things will just continue on as they are now.

That's right. Our health industry is currently fat and happy and it would never allow our government to intercept and skim their profits. Just the talk of taking away their profits has doubled our premiums. An implementation of Obamacare would double them again.

Are we forgetting who really runs this country?

What have we done to socialize health care any more then it was with medicaid/medicare?

Obamacare is not socialized heath care. Obamacare is the federal government propping up a failing part of the economy. Socialized healthcare would be the government owning hospitals. They are both bad ideas but it's important that we keep them straight for what they are. One is do gooders being stupid, aka socialized medicine. The other is corrupt evil bastards accepting money from lobbyists, aka Obamacare. Oh remember obamacare was dreamed up by the republicans in the first place.

Right on! It's always better to blame and point fingers than trying to work together and find a compromise. I applaude your insight!

Careful what you ask for... it is true.

Not picking on anyone... however those of us who have been involved (read that keeping track of polecats) for decades know who first proposed what... and who supported what.

    Might be surprised.

IMO BOTH parties have lost track of what America is about... I wish we could start over--that will not work.
The remedy is to NEVER trust a polecat... regardless of party, platform, convictions, left/right... they are all the same; and are to NOT be trusted.

The selfishness in the healthcare industry is astounding. But hey, when somebody else is paying the bill....when somebody writes you a blank check, what would you fill in?

I got hit here in Ft. Worth by a drunk Mexican about 20 years ago. Fortunately I was driving a beater car at the time. But, they didn't do anything to the guy. He hit me so hard his battery cable came off, and he wasn't able to get his truck started. Took the cops an hour to show up, and he still couldn't get his truck going. They didn't do anything to the guy. Crazy.

There are two things the average person would never pay for if the money was not taken from them before they ever got their hands on it. They are taxes and healthcare premiums.

John just for the record both Medicare and Medicaid were established in 1965 under LBJ when the Democrats had overwhelming majorities in both houses after the disastrous defeat of a true conservative Sen Barry Goldwater. LBJ got anything and everything he wanted pushed through the Democrat controlled Congress (all very socialist big government programs). The Great Society ( VISTA, Head Start, Teacher Corps, Bilingual Education Act, Higher Education Act, Department of Transportation, PBS, etc., etc.), War on Poverty (Medicare, Medicaid, Food Stamps, etc.).

Now this was all done by liberal Democrats with stiff opposition from the few Republicans and some Southern Democrats in Congress but they were a small minority in both houses then. So IMHO and with all due respect you can take that we all did and and shove it as far as the most liberal and socialistic programs established by our government. Just need to get that fact out there. Thank you, thank you very much

Oh one more thing the worst thing LBJ and the Democrats did was push through an immigration reform bill which eliminated our half a century old immigration qouta system based on counties which 90% of all immigrants came from Northern European countries. That was probably the worst legislation passed because that is how the commie Obama got elected. Thank you, thank you very much
