    Why is my new A/C freezing up?

    Call came in as to hot. These are Trane xr13s with the low ambient kit installed. The only problem is you have to hook the motor up for it to work.

    On the opposite end one of my customers called it was too hot, as we rounded the corner I see a huge lawn chair pillow on top of the condenser that customer had put their in a.m. while tidying up pool area, needless to say she acknowledged her misdeed and all I had to do is reset manual hi press switch but she told me put any part I had on truck so hubby would not get mad about pillow fiasco and to keep it on the down low, great customer, never quibbles about pricing or timeframe, did not take advantage just replaced pitted contactor and all were happy. Did not have time to take a pic, she ran and took it off condenser before I could get to it.
