How does one search posts for two word terms?

It seems that if I perform a search for a two word term within quotes, the result retrieves posts with the terms separately.

For example; I want to find posts that reference the term "system effect". All i get is post that include "system" and "effect" but not "system effect".

No, that's not how to do it.

Go to google.com and type this into the search box...

    site:hvac-talk.com +"system effect"
