This position is responsible for: utility and Security Fiber Network design, installation, and operation; Facilities Automation Server and Software deployment, operation and oversight; maintaining network performance; network standards development and implementation; new technology selection and implementation; supervising assigned employees; budget management for assigned areas; working in team environment to accomplish organizational goals. This job will be filled as a level 3, or level 4, depending upon the successful candidate's competencies, education, and experience. Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or higher plus four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience for a level 3. Additional experience and/or education and competencies are required for higher level jobs. Previous supervisory experience, experience with ALC, JCI, Delta, Apogee or other BAS and working knowledge of BACnet protocol preferred. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of network topology, security, protocol and maintenance; have a proven history of handling project budgets and schedules, possess strong written and oral communication skills; be a self-motivated leader and independent thinker; motivate others as well as demonstrate team participation skills and perform well in stressful situations. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid driver's license and successful completion of a motor vehicle check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
