    any appliance refrigeration tech here , beautiful kenmore might be an LG

    asked this in pro but drew a blank . the ice dispenser does not work , the auger turns etc ,but the problem appears to be the insulated flap with a seal does not open .any one have any knowledge at all , thanks jim

    Last one I fixed, I gave it a good case of swap. IMHO just didn't pay to screw with it.

    The last domestic refrigerator ice maker I worked on was due to the inlet tube blocked with ice. Hot water spray bottle cured it.

    Or they could just defrost the whole thing. Pull plug, open door.
