    Tool to measure superheat, subcooling?

What tools do you guys use, specifically to measure the line temperature? I've seen those tool that can measure the pressure at the valve, and the clamp tool to measure the line temperature, but was that worth the investment? I am fine with just calculating it manually, but what temperature measurement device do you guys use?

Um, read the title of the thread.
    The ak900 does this.

Incorrect, he also stated that he's seen those things that measure the valve pressure and measure the line temp and asked if it was worth the investment because he's ok with doing the math now.

I don't know of any temp testers that measure pressure, line temps, and do math that aren't digital gauges.... Like the DC AK900's : P

^I use one of those with a cooper red box, and analog gauges. Or I use my Digicool ak900.

He asked specifically how we measure superheat and subcooling.

I use a DC 1200 or an AK900 to measure superheat or subcooling.

Sounds like hes asking for a temp tester to me.

But either way....I would use my Testo 570 with sensors.

If any of you were at all adept at listening...truly listening; you would realize he was really wondering how to achieve inner peace - along with 8-10* subcooling.

    Jeesh!
