    This is not a bike?

I think the chain is worth more than this micro-channel coil. They need to think twice about what they are doing, someone may think this unit is valuable. I am still trying to figure out what they are trying to accomplish?

[QUOTE=JKopp;14599041]I think the chain is worth more than this micro-channel coil.

A 1.5 ton copper and aluminum coil is worth, what, $25? Obviously the owner has had his CU stolen beforehand, and the meth heads don't know wtf a micro channel coil is. It isn't doing much good, but hey you can't blame them for trying. All they have to do is make the thief pick an easier target.

I've got a project where they took 16 gauge welded steel, bolted to concrete slab, and covered the 3' long lineset, and did nothing for the AC.

It would do just as good to mount a sign over the CU; "Stealing is not Nice!".

There's no way those eyelet bolts would hold if someone got their truck on that chain. Nice try though!

Yeah those thieves are gonna be like "if only the stuff we use to cut through the big copper lines and power wires could cut the tiny wire mesh on the unit : (, and it's too bad there are no screws that could be removed so that we could work around our wire grille problem... Double : * ( face. )
