    Service tech said he pulls great vac on his systems

    We always wondered why he pulls downs so quick! Guess we know now.

    My vg64 did that too. Supco will recalibrate it for $40

    I had a micron gauge like that too once. Pulled every system down to 100 microns in minutes!

    Threw a old one away the other day. You turn it on and in less than a min open to atm it would read 50 microns. Everybody wanted to use it to pull vacuums

    Hmmm... Wonder if there is a way to calibrate one's vacuum gauge... other than send it in and pay?

    Might be a good idea to check every so often.
