    Blue tower water

I was curious to why this cooling tower water is like a nice blue color tower seems pretty clean. I was at this account repaired some issues with the tower fan, water was the regular clear color a month ago now they assign me to the account to take care of it, I'm sure it has something to do with the chemical guy. It looks good but wondering what's up with it????

Toilet tablets? Ask them. I get less and less surprised at what people will do if they think it will save them money.

I can't post a pix through my phone! But yeah that's exactly how it looks. It could be true because I've heard they are super cheap.

Maybe someone was acid cleaning the condenser and instead of disposing of the acid mixture the proper way, the just pumped it back in the tower water. I know it will change the water color.

Hopefully it's the Hydrobalance. But maybe it's copper sulfate, the stuff they put in decorative ponds.

Hopefully it's not scale dissolver that was never drained and flushed out.

There iz a company called prochemtech out of Ohio and they make a tower treatment called bluetrace. and you measure the chemical levels by checking the absortion rate.

I know of one large complex that dyes all their water. Different colors for different water (chilled water, heating water, etc...), so they can identify what the source is as soon as they spot a leak bubbling up out the ground. Maybe these folks have done the same?
