    Tridium R2 Alarms/e-mails

    I have a job comming up alarming a cellular switch site with a stand alone jace to send out emails and i was wondering if anyone knows how to limit the emails sent out so it doesnt fill up the customers email boxes. TIA

    Basically, you cannot limit the numbers of emails, but you can adjust the sensitivity(deadband, delay, ect. ) of alarms.

    why would you limit the amount of alarms. isn't that is the purpose of the alarm's

    For network issues, so that they dont get hit with 500 emails when they already know there is a major issue after they got hit with the first 50.

    Say you setup a low temperature alarm at 45F. Do you want to get just one alarm when the temperatue is 44F at 4:00am or get 100 same alarms during 4:00am and 4:10am, just because the reading is hunting around 45F(45.1,44.9, 45.2, 44.9, 45.3, 44.7.........)?
