Nameplate isn't for approved coil, it's for the "most commonly used coil".

Just like DOE ratings on equiptment.

After sharing the operating data with the Frigidaire tech he advised to pull charge. The install is two years old and an approved combination. Pressures still are a little high but unit has 28 degree td and has been running since. Temp across drier is good. The strange part is that the unit was under charged by 5 # and the high pressure occurred sooner.

Tstat isn't wired wrong so strip heat runs at the same time as the heat pump, right? I just fixed one that had been there for ten years with that problem. Customer had been told the HP switch was a safety feature and just reset it if it tripped - it tripped in heat mode almost everyday since it was installed.
