We have a society that has become disconnected from firearms due to our increasing urbanization and dependence upon an increasingly militaristic police force, so now, they believe that they no longer "need" guns for any reason.

Stop gun bans, take a liberal to the range and educate them. If that fails, well....... Accidents happen.

And here is the one problem. People who support banning guns, don't want to know anything about them. Their entire argument rests on guns are evil and you don't "need" them. It's quite frustrating when you try to get them to define an assault weapon.

elf, do u think romney or anyone one else on the right would take America down the path of distruction that obama is?
the lefts agenda is to break the back of working Americans...their well on their way in doing so.

I'm wondering what and who will be picking up the tab on socialism when capitalism is history......

    Politics are a messy thing...

While I thoroughly understand what Elf is saying about both sides of the isle being corrupt... I can see clearly the right can potentially do less damage to my life than the left.

I hate the idea of choosing the lesser of two evils... yet it appears that is all we have.

So I will propose this question: Is it better to choose the lesser of two evils, or is it better to not vote?

Yes it is the same path we have been walking for 50-60 years. Nothing changed from one administration to another. We do not have socialism or capitalism. We have fascism. Socialism is not food stamps, socialism is state owned farms producing food. Food stamps are a way of the states subsidising agricultural corporations. This is just an example, and I in no way support the economic fascism, the joining of the state and business, nor socialism, ownership of the means of production by the state. I want real free markets, and neither side is willing to let go of the lobbyists money to give them to anyone.

THe right can do more damage then the left can because the people on the right will dovetail to what they say.

It's weird. Its people who side with both the right and left object to things when the other side is in power then roll over for the same thing when their side is in power and do it.

Nope, but mainly because I do not desire power. The media is part of the main problem in this nation, not that it leans liberal or conservative, but because they have convinced people that they have no choice but to chose the lesser of two evils.

    Medicaid part D.

You put a republican in the white house and give control of the senate and house to them and the programs and laws the right would complain about under a democrat get passed without word. The welfare state in the country was expanded massively under bush and you heard nothing about it from republicans and conservatives.

Take the stupid free cell phone program. Not a word when it passed through under bush, but now everyone hates the obama phone. It really should be called a bush phone.

You can see the exact same thing with the antiwar left. They hated bush for the wars his administration started but they don't say anything about the actions taken abroad by Obama.

So yeah, I'm happy Romney lost, because looking at his track record he would have done all the same things as Obama, but the right would be making excuses because "their" guy was in power. At least this way conservatives are screaming about some of the travesties going on in this country.

Bush and his ilk were RINOS and not conservatives. IMO, their free spending ways, the poor decision to invade Iraq and his desire for amnesty led to the obomonation we have now, as well as conservatives having another RINO on the ticket to oppose him (McCain)

Although Romney would make JFK look like a Republican, I doubt he would be forcing gun control, championing gay marriage, expanding welfare, supporting the Muslim Brotherhood and opposing domestic energy sourcing. In my mind, without a doubt the present administration is hell bent on destroying the country.

The whole office of the Presidency is a sham. Our puppets are groomed and placed in these positions by elitists. Take Kerry and Bush for example...they are brothers in the Skull and Bones Society.

Many Presidents were Masons...another secretive order in which to practice skullduggery. Many Supreme Court Justices are and were Masons, appointed by the Mason President in the White House at the time.

We are fed a huge sheit sandwich on a daily basis and argue amongst ourselves topics that may treat a symptom, but wont cure the disease......that always seems to come back...doesn't it?
