    Lessee if the public follows this like sheep... or they choose to tell the govt to back off... IMO will say a lot about the future of the USA.

    Yeah, cuz clearly the problem is that we don't spend enough money on education, never mind that only 3 countries on the entire planet spend more per student than the USA.

    Not saying more money is the solution but, does your graphical illustration compare how far a dollar will go from place to place?

    I wish I had a good solution to all of this but I don't. Traditionally it seems we just throw more money at something rather than try to fix it. Being married to a teacher, it's really hard to see the fallacies and see nothing being done about it. All of the ideas I have heard are horrible.....
