Considering that the OP is a homeowner and is trying to incite exactly this sort of battle between technicians, he's getting exactly what he wants.

He likely has no more desire to start an HVAC company than I have of being the President of the USA.

More likely, he is mocking us and making light of the effort that we've put into becoming the technicians that we are.

Sorry to have brought on your shame, however, I see nothing in my posts for me to be ashamed of considering that I know "the rest of the story" as Paul Harvey used to say it.

Boy, I'll bet there is a story there, JP.

He is clearly an unhappy camper.

To the OP's question, if you do not have natural mechanical abilities, they CAN be learned in a good school.

However, that will NOT make you a tech. It WILL make you an educated helper with a clue.

I'm always confused by those who describe themselves in an attempt to start things with others. Seems counter productive at best.

I think hvacvegas called it from the get go, troll central on this one.

"Better tell the sandman to stay away, because we're gonna be workin on this one all night."

"Dude, you need more than 2 wires to a condenser to run a 2 stage heatpump."

    "Just get it done son."
