Need wiring diagram/shotgun for True T-24GC

Correction- TRUE-The evap fan is not running and it killed the compressor. There is no power to the evap fan and I need to find and verify any components that break the fan circuit. I can't believe how big a pain it is to get to the wiring. You have to take the entire top of the unit off, then you have to remove the entire inside back of the unit apart to get to the wiring. Then you can't really run-test anything because it's apart. Why would a company design a unit that you can remove a few screws to get to the defrost control and then not have enough wiring to pull the control out so you can check the wiring at the terminals????

True doesn't publish wiring diagrams. The best way to get one is to give them a call and they will either fax or email it to you.

I believe the only control for the evap fan on the glass chillers is the defrost timer, as they don't typically have a fan delay thermostat...but it's best to call. (Have the model & serial number of the box handy.)

AS far as " True " I would go with the shotgun approach.
They are " Truly " infuriating to work on.
They sent a number of boxes out which " by their design " cycled the evaporator fan with the compressor.
The KM said " This box has never worked right since it was new...."
When I asked the Engineering rep at True why they did this he said it was for " efficiency."
I'm not sure why they think they can run refrigeration like an air conditioner????
I had to just hang up the phone and laugh silently about the whole affair after wiring the unit correctly.
I have seen VERY large building mechanical systems that were also just as badly engineered totally self destruct.
All Mechanics at large need to whenever possible, start questioning Engineers and do everything possible to hold them accountable for what they put out there.

Same folks that run a lineset up through the back wall. Then, if you gotta a clogged capillary, they sell you an externally mounted channeled kit to route the "replaced" capillary.
Hey - they're the epitome of commercial equipment...so a problem is rare...

I forgot to mention: True may put thier diagrams in some obscure locations. Their upright two-door units, it's behind the louvered kick panel on the backside of the center channel cover where the condenser plugs into. If memory serves, there's another upright unit that has a metal box next to the condenser that encloses the their defrost timer and other electrical stuff. A side cover comes off of that and may have a diagram. I don't have a clue about this chest freezer "glass froster" you're looking at. Never seen one.

Remember that there are a LOT of True units running out there. For every one you work on there are 20 more that run for years and years with very little service.

Regarding cap tubes in True units...Has anyone ever had much luck running a replacement tube up through the suction line? I think most techs that were told to try this gave it a whirl and didn't have any success. I have done it several times without too much trouble.
