Just switch to CO2, ammona or Propane and you wont have to worry about R-22 or any other HFC

I was not aware you could "just switch" to any of those refrigerants

probally very good for whoever is in on it.
Besides propane which it seems like "they" are fighting hard for obvious reasons has anyone put some numbers together like you see with electric cars and the real costs involved with just switching. Then more on line with what we are talking about I'd like to see a compairison for the cost and inviromental inpact to just switch your gas car to electric which is closer to what we would have to do in refrigeration.

I didnt not mean change out (switch) your HFC for a natural refrigerant in an existing system. I just meant we are going to be moving to the natural refrigerant in new and remodel systems. And that just the way it is. Dupont and the other gas manufactures have not come up with anything new that is going to satisfiy envriomental concerns like the old natural refrigerant do. BTW the natural refrigerants (CO2, Ammonia and HC) are much cheaper than synthetics refrigerants.

I would add about who controls the market. By restricting and changing juices... the price stays HIGH... which produces high profits for refrigerant manufacturers... which they donate to political campaigns. And us worker bees pay the bill for this charade...
