lets see no drip legs. freaking flex lines. a freaking down flow furnace. That is all i see rightnow
is it me or is it upside down?
The installer was thinking of the future....the future sale of a heat exchanger
maybe the coil is attached correctly just the ducts are ran wrong?
I was thinking that the down flow unit was installed up side down.
Those who dance, appear insane to those who do not hear the music.
Those who believe, appear ignorant to those who do not know God.
He was even kind enough to leave lighting instructions to the water heater..
Am I really seeing what I think I'm seeing??
Just like a gas-pack...
I just don't understand the level of stupidity in some people!!
The furnace has to be upside down... Look at the writing on the labels on the blower door cover (its not aligned on the left like you would expect), and look at the energy guide on the side of the furnace. Also, I don't believe the flue was designed to be ran that way...
Actually, you can install those furnaces upside down, as per the manual.
I've done it once.
Mine didn't look like that though....
There was a time when Lennox made counter flow furnaces with stainless exchangers and that application was acceptable. But that ain't one of em.
If you really know how it works, you have an execellent chance of fixin' er up!
Tomorrow is promised to no one...
