No, I have never had the Pleasure, but it Sounded Interesting to me, so i Googled it. "Please tell us more", if you have more to tell, ie. the good, the bad, and or the ugly, if any?

Any Clivet Tech's here?

Well it could get ugly in fairness.
Got to go and look at an issue on a CLivet chiller tomorrow.
I'll know more then, but I was told by the client that it needs a new expansion valve.
Clivet issued me with a new expansion board and Eprom also.
Not sure why, but anyway...
Who told your client it needed a new expansion valve.
Very rare for both EXV and EXV board needing to be replaced, usually when the initial tech isn't too sure of what's causing the problem he may order up both. It may be a new style of EXV hence a new board and EPROM needed.
The EPROM sounds like it's probably a software update. Sounds like Clivet decided on the EPROM was needed you could ask them why all 3 items needed when only a EXV was asked for.
Good luck

Hello Gibbo, How are things in the Motherland? Question: If and when the OP arrives on site, and the Main Control Module is throwing a "C511082 code", would you then say that it could be in need of another "Electronic Thermostat/Expansion Valve Module"? PS: If no one wants to play with me, then i'm forced to play with myself i guess! LMAO... I await your reply on the Code....
All the chiller alarms I have begin with E followed by 3 digits can't see that alarm code C511082.
As mentioned a model number might help..
10/4, I got it from here, on page 18. (give it time to open as it is slow) I know i'm grasping for straws here, but thought maybe the Basic Electronic Controls Layout were "Somewhat the Same" with most Clivet Chillers? Yes, No, or Otherwise? Thanks in Advance!

Hey Gibbo,
The client was told from their previous service company.
The unit is throwing up two faults:
E128 Stepper Motor Error Alarm
E103 Evaporator pressure probe fault.
I will get to site tomorrow.
I plan on checking out the EEV resistance first. then the evap pressure sensor and take it from there.

Full apologies guys. Any more threads and I’ll put all the information I have in the first post.
I really appreciate your help. Thank you.
Don’t kick yourself too hard now!
No Harm, No Foul, and all the Best to you on your Quest. I would appreciate it though, if you checked in sometime after you do your magic on this unit, and let us know what you found. I have been Reading up on this Company, and Your Unit In particular all Morning, and I Like What I'm Reading so far! Take Care !
The number C511082 you gave us is for the EXV board both the EXV and probe are connected to this board. It maybe a EXV board comms failure or no power to the board. So I would start there first then check the EXV and probe. Hopefully there's a wiring diagram on site. The main controller is called a spin chiller have emailed a manual it might help..

Clivet EXV drivers like to dead if emergency batteries are old.
If you have jammed EXV, check the compressors, maybe one of them drank liquid freon. Metal shavings stuck to the magnets of the EXV motor and it jammed (if its ALCO)
Hey guys, OK quick up date.
The EEV was indeed killed. Zero resistance across the pins on the stepper motor.
So changed out the valve, damn they fit those things real close to the evap and sight-glass.
Anyways, got it in and pressure tested vac tested, (changed the drier) and recharged.
Powered down, installed the power cable to the valve and powered up.
Could hear the valve closing down right away and fault E128 was gone.
However....
Got a E114 pre alarm low pressure. Damn transducer is out about 2.5 Bar, low so need to change it out.
I did get a new transducer from suppliers, but it has a different plug on it to the existing one. Apparently they changed transducer's so it looks like I need a cable also.
Anyway all good so far.
Thank you all very much for your assistance, greatly appreciated..
When I get the cable, I will update again.
