Ice and Fire Northern Ontario Stlye
If any of you have ever wondered what you do with the debris of a dilapidated building when you live on an island in the middle of a remote lake, you've come to the right place.
I give you: Fire and Ice (or how to hold a bonfire, Northern Ontario style)
First you need to lug all the bits into the middle of the lake. Tricky when the lake is covered with a few feet of snow


Then, with a little magic, and a lot of matches, you stand back and watch it burn-baby-burn!





And you head for the dining hall:

THAT is one of the most expensive lawn ornamants money can buy. Some come on trailers so's you can move it from one side to the other without actually having to start it.

Anywhere near Elephent Lake? Baptiste? A good friends got his cottage on Elephant... shallow, weedy and great muskie. We go up there periodically.
Bancroft is a real fun place
. Bin through it 20 time in the last year(daughter at Carleton U)... Almost as exciting as... Renfrew!!
