Need gas valve for Trane NG freestanding Fireplace, unit mod.# is L30-BF

Hello, I am searching for a replacement gas valve for a freestanding, NG Trane fireplace direct vent. I had a gas repairman remove the old valve to try to find a replacement and he disappeared so I do not have a current OEM model number. Trane has been no help at all and the aftermarkets can't find it without an OEM number. Any ideas ? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I believe you are looking for a lennox part. You have the model number correct however Trane does not manufacture any free standing fire places. I think if you look online under lennox parts you may have more luck. I still recomend contacting a contractor to purchase the part and service the unit properly. It is important that the unit will work with the gas pressures set to manufacturer OEM settings.

Thanks, you're right. For some reason I had TRANE on the brain instead of Lennox. I was able to locate one. Appreciate the reply.
