    "The meter-reader fixed it..."

    Went to a house today where the customer told me that the meter-reader for the city water company "fixed" her a/c!! This is what I found.....

    The city should fire that meter reader if that story is true. He is a liability to the city that would be sued when sh!! hits the fan. The Direct Tv man is coming to my house tomorrow though maybe he can fix the flashing around my chimney

    If it is working then it must have been fixed. Maybe the meter reader bumped the unit and it started up, or he reset the breaker as a nice fellow.

    Your probably right, step one: cut all the wires out of the unit. Step two: cut all the copper piping out of the unit. Step three: throw away the meter reader uniform you found and turn all that copper in for recycle
