am going to buy an new testo
i am going to buy a 557 testo gauge is there any software updates that the gauges need to have done to them at any time and how would you do it

i have not bought one yet. I did not know if any one needed to or has done an update on there gauges it would just add to the cost of buying the tool

The 557 does not use a software program like the the 570. What you are referring to is firmware.
The only new data you can load in a 557 is new refrigerants. And it would have to be sent in.
Otherwise there is no new data that needs to be inputted to the 557.
