    Old Pepsi Machine Compressor

I have and old 70s pepsi machine that the compressor tries to kick on every 30 seconds or so. I put a 3-1 start on it and it does the same thing... Could it be out of freon? Mark

Generally that set of circumstances ends up being a locked up compressor. A cause of it locking up could be low refrigerant, or dirty coils, or no air flow etc. A compresssor replacement is most likely necessary.
