    Moisture problem?

    Customer imported this secondhand milk cooler, previous company didn't seal up the pipework very well (or it had run with severe moister problems).

    No! they should have, though as is often the case with customers they have little understanding of how serious a problem it is.

    I've managed to get one of the circuits running just got to get the other side working as well!

    The older copeland compressor and system were scrapped though as the system was 40+ years old.

    Not too sure, the equipment was imported from another country. It was used for two years there then decommisioned and stood idle for 7 or 8 years.

    The pipework wasn't sealed up well so not sure if it got in then, the sight glass has that washed out look of a really wet system so maybe it run like it or tried to...
    The system looks to have had a new compressor and replacement overloads and contactor in its first years too so i don't think it had a very good start in life, also they were running them on the wrong refrigerant...

    I've got one system running, just working on the second one now!
