Carrier Infinity HP with zoning

No one seams to be able to answer this. Carrier 25VNA w/FE fan coil with infinity zoning. Im about to install this system and am wondering if the zone dampers modulate with the zoning system. It appears that the dampers operate in a N/O or N/C position. I was told that the dampers do modulate, but I don't see how. If they do, the static pressure would increase when it approaches set point temp; that would create more problems. If the static pressure increases do the other dampers modulate open to compensate the pressure increase ?
Do the carrier dampers modulate or not ?
If they do, or not, how does the system respond?

They modulate. Control will slow blower as low as possible and/or keep dampers cracked to move enough air. Also, the control utilizes the calculated damper leakage to help manage excessive airflow.
