No question or issue. Just finished replacing dump valve on one of these old beauties. Gave it a good cleaning and she is off to the races agin. Cycle times are a little long but hey she's 26 years old and still making perfect cubes. Cut my teeth on these back in the day. Nice to see one still getting it done.

The E-Series was the last of the R12 machines before the big switch to R502. It was also the last of the old siphon flush...at least for the bigger machines.

As I recall, there was a mid-production change from the siphon system to the dump valve. Here's a retrofit kit they had to convert the older ones:

As far as I could tell except for the float valve its all original. Still got the R-12 sticker on the comp. found it in a church kitchen. Donated to them a few years ago.

I was wondering if there were any of those still around working! I too cut my teeth on those and the C models before them. Haven't come across one still working in many years!
