Oh to have seen your face as you crested the roof.
The first time a tech sees a high wind operated economizer on a package unit can produce hilarious facial expressions and lip movements...

That is brilliant. Pay us full price and we will come back and fix it later. How about that unit behind it falling off the blocks. Some pretty shabby work in that area. Must keep you busy. I am getting kind of hungry from looking at that burger in ADillions avatar.
You need to put the phone down and get back to work!

Whatever brand it is (looks like carrier) I hope your not going to replace the moor under the factory warranty. It's not that poor motors fault. If that motor had not been burnt up and was running I would have shot it to put it out of its misery

That unit is obviously a lady, look how she crosses her legs when she sits. "SAAAAAVE HER" from the pernicious knownothings, and restict the sale of screwdrivers to people who know which end to poke your eye with.
He didn't bring any lunch home, so they ate him.

Wonder how much damage that would've done to the HX if the heat were hooked up. (Is it? don't see a gas line running to it)

...........that is flippin' retarded. Unfrickinbelievable. They may aswell just set the unit on the roof, hook up the electric with no ductwork at all cause I know that thing could not have been doing much work. Those two blocks should have been used to drop on the installer's head.

Oh yes. Trac pipe ran under the plywood, under the unit. The limit works! Carrier rep has offered to replace this unit at their cost. But this stupid owner can't understand the problems he may be facing with this. And that his warranty is void.
Also the local inspector caught me today on another job and I could not resist sharing what type of crap he has going on. Come to find out a permit was pulled. But never got physically inspected. Just the good old rubber stamp. This is a direct result of poor city management. Laying off inspectors and combining departments to cut cost to keep handout services is going to result in more of this quality of work.
Thank god they didn't do a HV electrical service change over.
