Hotel room mini fridge

Im in a hotel right now for a 3 day water furnace class and noticed the mini fridge in a small enclosed compartment on the dresser. When you open the dresser door, you can feel the heat, and when the compressor starts it sounds like its crying. It can't breathe. This is a very new fridge in a very new hotel

Defies logic that you need that heat to thaw your beer out after about 16 hours in the mini freezer.

It will not be new for long recirculating it's own discharged heat.

Why not point this design error to the hotel manager and mantiance dept may be an over sight on the designers part .
you would be suprized how many desiginers have no clue when it comes to such things.

Get out your cordless drill and wrkshirt and go room to room and start drilling some 1 1/2 holes?

Tell them your fridge isn't working right and request a visit from maintenance. When they show up, sit down silently on the bed to see if they can figure out what the problem is. Then tell them they either owe you your hotel stay for free, or a case of cold beer.
