    Make sure your contractor is going to get you the proper thermostat, you need one that will control a "Dual Fuel Heat Pump"

    Contract states a honeywell 8320 w outsdoor sensor. I assume that will do the job.

    It will. Ask about the price difference of upgrading to a Honeywell IAQ
    A good HVAC tech knows how, an educated HVAC tech knows why!
