Curious about the expansion valve(s) in my heat pump
Is there just one expansion valve in a heat pump or are there two (one for heating and one for cooling)?
Is the expansion valve(s) in the condenser or evaporator?
Looking at the expansion valve(s), what is the refrigerant direction?
Thank you

Other than the infamous Westinghouse Hi/Re/Li, heat pumps have 2 meters. They may not always be expansion valves, could have a piston or 2.
