    when people get hungry, people get mad and ugly, fast.

    Is it because of GW? or is it because they live IN FREAKING DESERT??? where they have to import most of there food?

    as the population of the planet increases food supplies will dwindle. In 20 years, this is going to be an ugly planet to live on.

    No, Global warming is not the reason, maybe here though. Islam is the reason, strict obedience to a violent religion of an angry god allah.

    If it were not for the squeeze people there were feeling in large part because of the increasing food prices they would have gone on as usual. The religion or politics in the region has not changed much in the last 20-30 years there. Why all of the sudden did the people rise up? World food prices went up, don't know if you can blame global warming, but the weather you could.
