Thermostat wiring
hello
I'm trying to replace my old heat pump thermostat. However, i can't get any cool. When you call for COOL, it stucks on HEATING mode. Whenever I call for HEAT, it just stays there: no fan (AUTO mode), compressor doesn't kick in.
--- Heat pump terminals (R,O,Y,G)----
R connects to RED (24vpower)
O connect to BLUE wire (rev)
Y connects to YELLOW (cool)
G connects to G (fan)
(There is no WHITE (heat) wire!!)
New thermostat has R (Rh/Rc jumped), Y, C, O/B (W), G
Thanks for your help!!!

The purpose of this site is to employ a way for those in this industry to share information. Although we will do our best to help homeowners... this site is not meant for DIY. Wiring is a DIY issue.
Sorry but it is against the rules to show you how to wire your stat due to several other issues besides the DIY rule.
Other sites take on this liability, we can not.
