I agree, but you cannot assign permanent Object IDs to trend wires, which means they are subject to change if the program is updated. That is a problem for us, probably less so for a smaller system that is more stable.

This is very interesting. I hadn't thought of this, and it might be useful. We bring a lot of points from ALC to JCI for our "Enterprise Utility Management System".
