Only use oxy acytylene torches you can better pinpoint the heat and b tanks destroy service valves and TXV's the only thing i will use a b tank on is large copper when using actual plumbing solder and flux for boiler water piping

I bought oxy ace but can't use it

    Thanks for the input

I have used both and really both are good however I preferred the Oxy/ Acet because it has more temp control. I use #0 and #2 tips the most often.

Yup, you'll be burnin up parts with the turbotorch. Not enough heat to get the job done fast enough. Not only that, but if you're not runnin nitro trickle, more oxidation inside your pipes.

I used the Oxy/Acet rig for 5 years. Now I run a "B" tank. My goal is to find the most cost effective route for my installers. This case study is still underway:

No one uses push button handheld mapp gass torch? Use it when I can. Almost fits in your pocket. Hassle carrying hoses and tanks

    Smith Quick Braze!
I am absolutely in love with this outfit!!
Hate b tanks. Last place I worked only used turbo torches. I think it was because no one knew how to set-up the oxy/ace rigs. They also went through a lot of TXV's lol

I refuse to use anything but OxyAcetylene for brazing or even silver solder. Ill use a MAP gas tank to heat things every now and again but never to weld.
