craft 2 ton heating mode problem
hi
i have 2 ton craft split unit
it had leak so i repair it
when i charged the system
it work peftectly in cooling mode
11 a current
40 psi suction line pressure
but when i change it to heating mode
the discharge pressure increases gradually
starting from
8 ampere
100 psi
reaching 475 psi
and current reach 25 a
so compressor start opening relief valve
so pressure decrease to 350 psi then increase to 475 psi
so what is the problem
i checked both capillary tube and filter in outdoor unit they are working very good
voltage is 220 v
can it be blockage in the indoor unit

40 psi seems a little low! Maybe your indoor coil is packed with dirt!!!!

Does the indoor unit have options for fan speeds ?
When you turn on heat , make sure the fan is blowing on high
Never heard of a Craft .... but on older units , the insulation inside the air handler itself will begin to fall apart after years of operation.
