    Backward thermocouple

    Name: ImageUploadedByTapatalk 21361735208.623281.jpg Views: 872 Size: 27.6 KB Dont know how well you can see it but, the pilot lite was on the thermocouple wire. To my surprise it proved flame for sometime. As soon as i tried to turn it around it broke off, it was very brittle.

    Not sure why but that reminds me of this older lady who was telling me she hated the last tech that was at her house, btw it was me lol. She was mad because "he didn't hear a noise" the furnace was making. Then she admitted it wasn't making the noise when I was there last. I guess sometimes driving an hour in the winter and getting her furnace working wasn't good enuf.

    What is this maintenance you speak of? JK their is talk of starting a pm program here in spring i did change the furnace filter while i was their i could have added that pic too.
