Toolpak backpack or klein backpack?

Hey guys im looking to purchase a tool backpack. Ive been using a electrician's tool pouch to carry all my tools around but its just getting heavy for me especially when carrying multiple like parts or motors. Im looking to purchase either the klein backpack or the toolpack 4 pack backpack. just wondering how sturdy it holds as well as if its waterproof (alot of rooftop work). Also does anyone know if toolpak is sold locally in ontario, canada?

If you work on the roof alot get a Veto, Plastic tub for a bottom, and throw the big shoulder strap over your back

Veto tech LC best out there I go through a bag every 3 months
This has lasted about 9 months. And still looks good and no tears.
I bought one for each of my techs, so they can't tease me about the price.

I paid about $55 with tax for mine at the store. I've been happy with it. It actually held all of my tools. But it get a little heavy once I put my tools in it. I actually went back through and took out what I don't use daily.

Anyone have luck with this backpack. I am losing alot of interest in craftsman bc of the quality but when I saw this in the store it seemed to be built well.

I bought mine last year. That and plus the Canadian $ being stronger than the US $ probably explains the price difference.

I have seen the AWP and Klein bag in person and would buy the AWP bag over the Klein one. It is a great price and looks very rugged. I bet with receipt and I little squawking lowes would replace it if any problems happend.

I use my tool bag and a rope. If I wanna get all spider monkey I put some tools in a Dickie backpack and climb the ladder.

I use the CLC 75 pocket heavy duty tool back pack, constantly on roofs and climbing stairs for units and compressor rooms, it is easy too carry and it also allows you too have both your hands free and carry all tools needed without having to go up and down to grab something. I have used mine for over 2 years and have seen little wear.

I had a awp from lowes. It broke in less than a month. I have now owned a clc 75 bag for almost a year with no troubles

Ok the CLC backpack has the plastic holder for small stuff like my tool bag now. I am sold. I wanna see it in person. Anyone know where to buy in Canada

hmm the clc seems to be the only one without a large rubber bottom base, why is this? i think for it to stand on its own and be somewhat resistant to wet surfaces , that type of bottom is needed. the difference between the craftsman, awp, and a few others is hardly noticeable and the Klein seems to be set up best for real trade specific tools..hmm hard choice for sure..
