Went to help a coworker pull a window unit in the cab of a bucket wheel excavator for cleaning. It is a pretty big machine that moves a lot of coal fast. It receives coal from it's prep plant a couple miles away via conveyer. It stockpiles around itself and when it's time to load barges the wheel starts spinning and it travels back and forth on rails. It had been down for two days but it was online and behind so we did not get close. It had a short failure today then a two inch cable had a failure on a feed belt so we just stayed away from the black cloud.
These are zoomed kind of hard but it's a good overview. You can see the cab kind of behind the wheel
This is on the backside of the pile it's eating on.
