    It is sad that rental owners think . It is perfectly fine. To leave this work in the hands of guys making 8-10 bucks an hour.
    I am getting sick of seeing so many furnaces hacked in and are saftey concerns.

    Thing that bugs me is that there is a reason a furnace was yanked from a home and thrown into the scrap pile. Just a brain dead maneuver to grab a 30 year old POS out of the metal pile and throw it in a home, just flirting with disaster.

    I get told all the time. That the landlord doesnot want to spend over 150 on a furnace. That only leaves used junk.
