    Economic retaliation~~~This might bite Cuomo in the butt

    http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Governm...o-Guns-For-You

    Today I got notice that Midway USA, will no longer do business in NYS either.

    NYS hunters are also going to put a one year moratorium on hunting in NYS, That will cost the state an estimated $36 million.

    In a state that is on the verge of bankruptcy, Emperor Cuomo may have screwed the pooch

    actually they will. With many countries signing on to the U.N. Small Arms Treaty sales outside the country are restricted.

    The proposed treaty is not in effect as an agreement could not be reached.

    Even if the treaty were in effect, it would not affect legal transfers of small arms between countries.

    Actually no. The treaty allows for recognized governments to acquire arms. I will leave out the less pertinent parts.

    The States Parties to this Treaty,

    Recognizing the security, social, economic and humanitarian consequences of
    the illicit trade in and unregulated trade of conventional arms,

    Taking note of the legitimate trade and use of certain conventional arms, inter
    alia, for recreational, cultural, historical and sporting activities and lawful
    ownership where such ownership and use are permitted and protected by law,

    Acknowledging that regulation of the international trade in conventional arms
    should not hamper international cooperation and legitimate trade in materiel,
    equipment and technology for peaceful purposes,

    Principles
    Guided by the purposes and principles of the Charter of the United Nations,
    States Parties, in promoting the object and purpose of this Treaty and implementing
    its provisions, shall act in accordance with the following principles:

    1. The inherent right of all States to individual or collective self-defence;

    4. Non-intervention in matters which are essentially within the domestic
    jurisdiction of any State;

    7. States Parties should respect the legitimate interests of States to acquire
    conventional weapons for legitimate self-defence and peacekeeping operations and
    to produce, export, import and transfer conventional arms; and

    Goals and objectives
    The goals and objectives of the Treaty are:
    (a) For States Parties to establish the highest possible common standards for
    regulating or improving the regulation of the international trade in conventional
    arms; and
    (b) To prevent, combat and eradicate the illicit trade in conventional arms
    and their diversion to the illicit market or for unauthorized end use;
    Just for giggles I will include the following.
    Scope
    A. Covered items
    1. This Treaty shall apply to all conventional arms within the following
    categories, at a minimum:
    (a) Battle tanks;
    (b) Armoured combat vehicles;
    (c) Large-calibre artillery systems;
    (d) Combat aircraft;
    (e) Attack helicopters;
    (f) Warships;
    (g) Missiles and missile launchers; and
    (h) Small arms and light weapons.

    OTTAWA — The federal Conservatives are considering sweeping recommendations from an influential government firearms advisory committee to loosen Canada’s gun control laws, the Star has learned.

    The proposed changes would touch on many of the remaining restrictions on firearms and critics say would pose a risk to public safety.

    The proposals include getting rid of the “prohibited” category of firearms and reclassifying weapons such as certain handguns and assault weapons as “restricted” only, and extending the duration of owner licences from five to 10 years — a move the RCMP warns would strip away an important safety check.
