Niagara backup.dist into a different station?

Was trying to load a station today and the config.bog was jacked up. therefore it failed to start and run on my local machine. I was wondering if it was possible to create a brand new station on my local machine and then load a backup.dist into it? I have been messing with it for about an hour now and haven't made any headway. Please pardon my ignorance as I am fairly new to Niagara ( got certified in October with no prior experience with it)

    Thanks in advance!!

rename the .dist to a .zip file and you will be able to open it in workbench and cut and paste from it.
    1 + 1 = 3 ( *** for very large values of 1)
