c1030ma Scotsman Evaporator change out
Have to change one out. I have never done one before any pointers / tips / extra items needed. I dont like surprises so i want to be prepared.

While I've never replaced an evaporator on this model, it appears to be much the same procedure as a Manitowoc.
If you don't already have it, here's the manual:

(Evaporator replacement is covered starting on p.116)
One tip which may help is to cut the evaporator tubing (rather than unsweating the brazed connections), remove the evaporator and then unsweat the remaining tubing stubs.

Leave the screws loose until you get the evaporator positioned properly so the harvest actuator solenoid can slide in and out through the hole in the evaporator freely.
