New Nitrogen Purging Reglator
Has anybody used the new all-in-one nitrogen purging regulator by Western? The purge, braze and test flows/pressures are all preset which I find very interesting but have never heard of them before. Is this legit?

Interesting product, but I have trust issues with preset regulators.

Oh really? Like what? Just that it doesn't put out what it says it will? I've never used a preset before
-
I am interested in this but would like to know your reasoning for trust issue bc I have never used preset regulators.

$200 MSRP, at that!
I'll pass on it and use individual adjustable regulator and flow meter, thanks.

I don't know, I think I'd rather have the premium product, IF the preset works as easily as it should. And this thing doesn't look like its going to break very easily....

I've had bad luck with declining performance of other preset regulators in the past, not this specific product.

One for 250psi, one for 500psi?
Couldn't they have one with both?

I'm curious, about how long? Are we talking months, years?

An adjustable pressure regulator can allow you to dial down the pressure when using it as a blow gun or to choose whatever pressure for high pressure leak testing.
A regulator with a flow meter is better for N2 purge during brazing. For one, you can dial it up and give it a "toot" to pre-purge the lines first and get the air out.

HVAC TECH 88, are you somehow affiliated with this company? I see several posts from you about this product.
Just curious.

No, that would probably be illegal somehow. I saw this at the AHR Show down here in TX. The rep didn't have a booth set up (or at least I didn't see one) so it peaked my interest but made me skeptical at the same time. But again, I've never even heard of Western before this.
