    1/4 mil I'm ready to move where's this job at. Lol. I've made in my younger days with overtime in the 70's. don't do that now health reasons

    NJ/Philly area tack on another 10-15k to those numbers.

    I recently switched to controls from mechanic. I took a hit in pay just to get into controls but im at 45k with no controls experience but 6+ years mechanic. My company pays our techs 65-90k with 5+ years experience. In Florida that is.

    I've got 8 years. But it's not so much the time as trying to pick up as much as you can as fast as you can and trying to excel at it. I've always thought you have to be really anal to be a good tech.

    Around the holidays with the short weeks. I don't even want to think about how much I make an hour ever since I put myself on salary.

    And you'll average significantly more than 60 hours a week to get that. Then wait on Obummer to stick his hand in your pocket come April....

    Salary will depend on which part of the country that the job is located in. I would estimate between $40k to $90k depending on the responsibility of the position.

    Thats surprisingly low. I just read through a job post in SoCal for an integrator at 90-110k.

    What the cost of living in that area? CA can be expensive as hell, which when factored in is going to bring you back to that range.
