i have 2 antiqe carriers that wont spark if the oat is less than 40f. i have installed grounds from the pilot to the chasis. i have swapped ignition modules from another unit. you can light it with a torch. anything im missing?

Move them inside a warm building and the problem should go away.

Some electronic boards are sensitive to low temps. The infamous JCI Blue Box and the Fenwal box used on Lennox and many York units are well known for low temp failures.

Give us a model and serial number for the units in question.

ignition Kit... When I encouter that I replace the ignition board, ignitor and flame sensor. I'd pull the burner tray out and clean the surface with grit paper. given that they are old they are probably very rusted, hard for anything to make spark of sense flame through the rust.

I always sell this to the customer as a "kit", flame sensor and ignitors are cheap enough to just replace.
