I was on a call a month ago and had a 12 yo weather maker leaking water. There was no water leaking out of any drain lines, hoses or anything. Only water coming from the blower motor opening. Inducer was mounted one 90 degree turn to the right from up venting out the side. A wall was built 8" in front of the furnace so no pulling the blower. Can anyone shed light on where the water was leaking from? I called rotten secondary but the homeowner dismissed me.

failed h/x is your answer. lots of them rotted away at the front portion.

I have found some by pulling the limit and using my camera to look straight down at the front and back of the secondary. Look for white deposits on the fins and at the ports.
May save pulling the blower.
Or if you have room. You can pull thhe ventor and collector box and look at the ports of the secondary.

Another indirect check is CO in the exhaust. Bad secondary will result in 200ppm or much more. Normally under 50ppm. May also be some in the house, but not necessarily.

probably a bad secondary and they suck to replace ,if you do repair the unit make sure you get all the parts because none of the parts can be reused , replace furnace if possible
