    Defrost on 16 seer Amana with comfort alert

    Is there a way to force defrost on this 49j22-289 white Rodgers control

    With a valid call for heat, a forced defrost can be initiated by pressing “TEST” and “RECALL” push buttons simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds.
