The tree hugger and the tree

The tree hugger and the tree
A woman from Los Angeles who was a tree hugger, a liberal Democrat, and an anti-hunter, purchased a piece of timberland in Washington.
There was a large tree on one of the highest points in the tract. She wanted a good view of the natural splendor of her land so she started to climb the big tree.
She wanted a good view of the natural splendor of her land so she started to climb the big tree.
As she neared the top she encountered a spotted owl that attacked her. In her haste to escape, the woman slid down the tree to the ground and got many splinters in her crotch.
In considerable pain, she hurried to a local emergency room to see a doctor. She told him she was an environmentalist, a Democrat, and an anti-hunter and how she came to get all the splinters. The doctor listened to her story with great patience and then told her to go wait in the examining room and he would see if he could help her.
She sat and waited three hours before the doctor reappeared. The angry woman demanded, “What took you so long?”
He smiled and then told her, “Well, I had to get permits from the Environmental Protection Agency, the Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management before I could remove old-growth timber from a “recreational area” so close to a waste treatment facility. I’m sorry, but due to Obama Care they turned you down.”

If I was a Scientologist, Hari Krishna or a Muslim would it be alright if I spouted my beliefs throughout this web-site. No? So tell me why it is necessary for me to read Christian religious words of wisdom on that same web-site. Stop please, this is a trade/science site not someone's personal pulpit. The moderators of this site know better so why is this done?
If responding in general try understand the purpose for the site being here.

The purpose of this particular forum is jokes, quotations, humor, and wisdom pills. And we got all of them in one post!

Your comments, however, seem to be misplaced, and maybe the mods can move it to ARP?

Also, I'm sure cehs paid just as much in membership dues to this site as you and i did. There is a lot of free content on the internet that I would rather not read, too. So I don't. Shoot, he even highlighted the Christian parts in red so you could look away before the damage was done!

The message of the cross of Jesus Christ is foolishness to those who refuse to believe...

You have the right to put anything the moderators will tolerate in your own signature line and I have the right to not look at it or read it. Just don't get offensive.

Interesting to see who reads the joke, and understands it, and who reads the tag lines, and doesn't understand.

Again with the double standard. This site because of its moderator's pushy religious stance will eventually scare or bore the science and physics types away. Do this and this site becomes irrelevant. Spare me the Jesus comments, this isn't the place, that's what a house of worship is for. I've been an A/C journeyman and an engineer for 30 years and I'm a trade purist. There's a time and place for all things and this shouldn't be anyone's pulpit.

I've re-read the OP several times but the first mention of Christ was by the one complaining. It would appear he has an axe to grind and came here looking to insinuate his views into a joke thread. Now who's wrong?

Interesting handle you have there deerwhistle-- is your reference to something known to be a ripoff and a scam an oversight or a Freudian slip? Just showing you how reading about somebody's profile, name or signature should have no bearing upon the content of their post so how about take a chill pill?
    Thx

    and may God bless you!

I can't believe anyone would really care enough to comment unless your religion practiced bestiality or human sacrifice.

As to those false religions that you mentioned that will take you to hell, go for it.

In the USA, we have freedom OF religion (or not)... We do NOT have freedom FROM religion.
If someone believes otherwise, they do not understand the laws of this land (and we ARE a nation of the rule of law... whether anyone likes it or not).

My (or anyone else's) right to what we believe is of equal value to your right to what you believe or do not believe.

If you do not like it... do not read it.

You do NOT have a right to refuse me the right to what I choose to type (public or private).

I might also mention this is a private sight which extends reading and posting privileges to whom they choose... so this rights BS really does not apply.

*Installation is more important than the brand of equipment
*The duct system keeps the house comfortable; the equipment only heats and cools (and dehumidifies)
*The value of comfort, over the long term; leave economic choices behind!

    Apparently Deerwhistle believes in
Free speech zones are areas set aside in public places for political activists to exercise their right of freedom of speech as an exercise of what is commonly called "TPM" or "time, place, manner" regulation of speech. Free speech zones are set up by the Secret Service who scout locations near which the president is to pass or speak. Officials may target those displaying signs and escort them to the free speech zones before and during the event. Protesters who refuse to go to free speech zones could be arrested and charged with trespassing, disorderly conduct, and resisting arrest. In 2003, a seldom-used federal law was brought up that says that "willfully and knowingly to enter or remain in any posted, cordoned off, or otherwise restricted area of a building or grounds where the President or other person protected by the Secret Service is or will be temporarily visiting" is a crime.[89][90]

But regardless of what he believes, God wasn't brought into the discussion except by the one trying to keep it out. The irony.

I'm curious if Deerwhistle would suffer a brain aneurysm if he got a service call at a church. You don't want to mix God and work.

Tell ya what, if you don't like it, how bout driving down to Vancouver around Main & Hastings. There you can find some good blow and at least one doable hooker if you really look. Then get on one of the party buses and drink till you can't see straight. Right before you go home score some meth just a little bit further east by Patrick's hotel on Hastings. Won't that make you feel better? You can do all the unChristian things you want to your heart's desire.
